Our Upgrade of Certification Program in Risk Management

The global economy has suffered successive shocks in recent years. For these reasons, the new branded Greater Institute of Financial Professionals (GIFP Institute) is upgrading the certification program in Risk Management. the Former Certified Financial Risk Manager (CFRM) is going to re-launched to Certified Risk Management Officer (CRMO), which will be a new standard of knowledge and ethical awareness within the risk management industry.

The upgraded CRMO certification program is a comprehensive global education certification program which provides a clear and step-by-step understanding in risk management. Expect for the traditional risk management in financial industry, CRMO certification program expands on a series of updated topics in risk management, including geopolitical, climate risk management, enterprise risk management, cyber security, and artificial intelligence, etc., which provides practitioners with a more comprehensive understanding, cognition, assessment of and response to risk.

The new CRMO certification program syllabus will be available in August 2023, and the first CRMO exam will be delivered in December 2023. The former CFRM certificate holders could apply for the updated CRMO certificate with required continuing education when the original CFRM certificate is due.
