CRMO Level 2 (CRMO L2) holders should have a deep understanding of the concept of comprehensive risk management, be able to master the theory and practical skills of the whole process of risk management, and have a comprehensive understanding and mastery of risk identification, measurement, risk control and regulation. They should have a strong financial, mathematical, accounting and modeling foundation, understand and master the management methods of market risk, credit risk, operational risk, liquidity risk and other major risks. They should know the historical classics and the latest risk management cases, have a strong understanding and application skills of emerging concepts such as FinTech, enterprise risk, cyber risk and climate risk and quantitative risk control, and have the professional ethics and know relevant laws and regulations required by CRMO certification.
Through the training and assessment of the CRMO certification system, CRMO L2 holders shall be familiar with and master the knowledge system required by Part I and Part II of the examination syllabus, and so as to have the comprehensive ability of risk management.
CRMO L1
Certified Risk Management Officer Level 1 (CRMO L1) is the entry-level certificate among the three-tier.
CRMO certification series. CRMO L1 is the basic professional level certificate leading to Certified Risk Management Officer Level 2 (CRMO L2) .CRMO L2
Certified Risk Management Officer Level 2 (CRMO L2) is the intermediate level test among the three-tier CRMO certification series.
CRMO L2 is the gold standard to evaluate the professionalism of risk managers. It stands for the theoretical and practical skills required for middle-level risk managers and experts.CRMO L3
Certified Risk Management Officer Level 3 (CRMO L3), is the top-level certificate among the three-tier CRMO certification series.
CRMO L3 raises strict professional ability requirements for senior risk management staffs and carries out a multi-dimensional comprehensive evaluation upon them. CRMO L3 stands for the highest standard of evaluation for senior risk management personnel.
Application Requirements
Graduated from technical secondary school or equivalent, with at least 4-years' working experience in related fields;
Junior college degree or equivalent, with at least 3-years' working experience in related field;
Bachelor degree or equivalent, with at least 2-years' working experience in related field;
Master degree or equivalent, or having obtained Certified Risk Management Officer Level 1 (CRMO L1), or intermediate or professional qualification in finance, accounting, economics, management and other related fields, with at least 1-year's working experience in related fields;
Doctor degree or equivalent;
Anyone who meets one of the conditions above and obtains 144 credits by completing the recognized education can apply to take CRMO exam.
Education Requirements
Candidates for the CRMO L2 should complete a72-hour/144-credit training course.

CRMO L2 candidates are considered as qualified if their scores reach at least 60 points.
