Application Requirements

Those who have obtained required credits after recognized training can apply for the exam and can apply for the certificate upon passing the exam.

Education Requirements

Candidates participating in ESG CIP program exam shall complete training courses of 65 study hours / 130 credits delivered by recognized education provider.

Examination Arrangement

Date: the first Saturday of February, May, August and November.

Time: 2 hours (09:00-11:00)

Form: Computer-based exam

Examination sites in other countries: a notice shall be provided in advance.

Question Type: 80 multiple choice questions

Exam result: Exam result is published approximately 4 weeks after a candidate takes the exam, and the exams are scored with ‘passed' or ‘failed', and the minimum passing benchmark for each exam is set by GIFP Institute. The purpose of this approach is to ensure fairness to candidates across administrations based on the difficulty of each exam, and GIFP Institute does not release the minimum passing benchmark.
